Avant Gardener a must for serious gardeners This monthly newsletter is a valuable resource for any serious gardener, especially those who are interested in research going on around the country on growing techniques, new plants, special cultivars and horticultural advances. The newsletter, a compilation from various sources, is a plain-jane publication without pictures, ads, glitz or graphics--it is simply packed with useful information. My only complaint is that the staff, apparently a mom-and-pop operation, could use some proofreading (although their Latin is fine). |
