Just don't ever drop it Based on the reviews at this site, I bought 2 of these. THey work fine, but if you drop one, even on very soft ground the little pieces fly off - there are 3 or 4 of them - and they don't appear to be re-attachable. I dropped it while removing it from the hose. That can't be all that unusual a mishap. If you're sure you'll never ever drop the thing, then it's ok.
Great Gear-Driven, Low-Pressure Sprinkler I've used this type of sprinkler for several years and it's absolutely great! It's gear driven and much quieter than the typical pulsating type. It also works on less water pressure than the pulsating types allowing you to power two of these off a single faucet (use a splitter with two hoses). Give it a try, you'll like it!
Good Choice for Large Lawns We just bought a new home with a large yard (19,000sq.ft to be exact) and we've tried so many sprinklers that stake into the ground. We hate that. With this one on a sled, it's much more comforting to know it only needs to sit on the lawn, not driven into it. It's also silent compared to other sprinklers.^M
