very fragile Although the sprinkler does a very good job -- it is especially easy to adjust the range and swath without getting soaked, it is very fragile. I sense many reviews here are from new owners. In the year we owned ours it has been broken by being tripped over (then repaired), same again (repaired), and again by children (unrepairable). The timer mechanism comes apart rather easily and the jets are easily damaged. The plastic is the hard, brittle sort that I fear could easily crack. If you take exceedingly good care of the device, it will I think serve you well, but I really think at this price it should withstand some abuse, at least as well as similar products.
