quality control The 101 is a great timer. I like the fact that it's powered by the flow. It does have some problems though.
This could save your Koi! After a year with my first Koi pond (4000 gal), I dozed off one day while making a water change. Instead of putting in 500 gal I added 1500 gal before I woke. Fortunately, I had used enough dechlorinator so my fish were OK....This time. I've met several people who have killed all of the fish in their ponds by forgetting to turn off the water under similar circumstances. And even if the Koi are not killed, chlorine damage to the gills appears to be permanent. |
