Okay, but not great I find the clip on this item is not too secure. The pouch is large, which is nice if you have large clippers. But mine are the same size as perhaps 95% of those on the market and they tend to fall out when kneeling in the garden. I purchased this item almost two years ago, and while it's still in great shape, I find I use a bucket caddy now to store my clippers with my other tools.
Never lose your pruner again Before I bought this I averaged one new pair of pruners every six months because I would misplace them. God only knows where they all went, I sure don't. In the last two years I have had the same rose pruner thanks to the sheath. Over my life this will pay for its self many times over.
Excellent Sheath For Other Things Too? Isn't it a pain when you have to run around your garden just to get the right tools for the right job? Wish you could just save time, and have the tool you need with you at all times? For delicate home garden jobs like managing your flowers, you'll need this Pruner Sheath. This is probably for serious home gardeners that spend lots of their time in the garden taking care of their precious plants and flowers. I like this sheath by Fiskars because of the sheer size! It's very, very roomy! The incredible amount of room for a pruner sheath is well worth it. Besides liking the amount of room availible on this product, I also liked it because it keeps your pruner by your side at all times, and when you really need it. This sheath holds most standard or bypass pruners, which is great. On the sheath is also a clip in which you can mount it on yout belt, waist, pocket, and other places on you. Also, there is a secondary pocket to hold smaller items, maybe like repair tools or nails. The construction is of very high quality and durable woven polyester. The material also keeps your pruner very dry and easy to grip onto as well. Everything is just smart about this, from the room, to the pockets and materials. Definitely for the serious gardener! |
