In-depth, but for magical purposes only This is truly a wonderful cover-all of the herbs used in magic. This is not a book for traditional medicinal uses of herbs, nor does it claim to be. The indexes in the back are extremely useful, and I have found myself using them repeatedly. I really enjoy how a bit of history on most of the herbs is presented--it makes the book an interesting read as well as reference book. My only complaint would be that the pictures are black and white drawings and not photos. I would love this book even more if it had the photos to allow for easier identification of the herbs in the wild.
My herbal source of knowledge Very informative, cross reference info, very indepth source for using herbs properly and correctly for best performance!
I love it! I like how the herbs are catagorized and explain each one. It also explains how each one can be used tells each ones magickal properties. I find this a phenominal source of information all in one book. It also helps when cooking! |
